Our industry challenges today are primarily two-fold. First is to deliver high value projects in a complex built environment. The second is to welcome and mentor our new generation of engineers, surveyors, planners and environmental scientists to our design community. Mentoring the next generation of our engineering profession in project work and professional organizations builds not only a stronger bottom line but strengthens our industry as a whole. On that point, leading by example through my commitment to our design teams and through professional organizations by taking on leadership roles and sharing with our future leaders what may lie ahead and being available to them when needed.    As a Senior Project Manager and Senior Associate I work with our division and regional managers across business lines to help build relationships with water utility companies, local governmental agencies and other consultant engineers so they can utilize the best technical strengths of CMT to make their projects the most successful they can be.I am responsible for project execution of complex multidiscipline projects. I am currently working with our clients in Chicago and the greater Northern Illinois area. These have included several large public agencies in the water resources arena such as the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District and the City of Chicago\'s Department of Water Management. As a utility coordinator I have assisted on Illinois Tollway Authority and INDOT projects. I frequently take on the responsibility as a project manager and lead civil designer on projects with these agencies. As Technical Lead/Advisor I have provided design services for several large diameter water transmission main relocations. I have served as municipal engineer for two northern Illinois communities. In this role, I managed yearly road maintenance programs (IL DOT MFT) for these communities. Applied for and received several federally funded grants for transportation related improvements. Project manager for numerous local agency projects that included roadway designs, water distribution and sanitary sewer collection systems.
