I have worked in Oil & Gas field for the last 15 years. The majority of my experience comes from operating heavy equipment in in a variety of settings in this industry however for the last year I have been in the role of Craft Safety Advisor. I am a firm believer in building a safety culture that promotes individual ownership of safety. I believe if safety can be presented in the correct way people will want to buy-in rather then be forced to conform. I believe my strong field based background allows me to try and help workers see the personal benefits of safety by drawing off my experience and knowing personally the factors that they need to overcome on a daily bases.
