Dr. Joel Brown, MD, MBChB, MRCGP, CCFP, CPSO, MIoL, MRSPH, DipMSKMed, DFSEM(UK), FRSA Family Physician | Clinical Leadership | Digital Health | Primary Care Innovation I’m Joel, a Family Physician, Global Health Advocate, and Digital Health Enthusiast with a passion for innovation, equity, and system transformation. My career has taken me from the NHS in the UK to Ontario, Canada, working across elderly medicine, emergency care, psychiatry, surgery, and general medicine, but I found my true calling in family medicine—the frontline where healthcare meets people where they are. Over the years, I’ve straddled the worlds of clinical practice, health system leadership, and digital transformation, working on primary care innovation, musculoskeletal medicine, and public health initiatives. Right now, I’m furthering this journey by pursuing an MPH in Global Health—because medicine isn’t just about treating individuals, it’s about reshaping the systems that determine health outcomes. I believe technology and creativity are game-changers in healthcare. As a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), I see the arts, music, and culture as integral to human-centered care and innovation. My work in digital health, AI, and virtual care models aims to make healthcare more accessible, more equitable, and just. better. And #SUPADOC?
