For 4 years, led Chevron’s Global MFG Energy Team with focus on delivering Higher Returns, Lower Carbon through no cost optimization, capital programs, and capability growth. The no cost optimization program has been scaled to other business segments beyond MFG. Final role with Chevron was in the Technical Center providing leadership and support for facility optimization studies and advanced training for Chevron’s Energy / Lower Carbon Community and Complex Processing Facilities. Continued to steward, deploy, and scale (for over 6 years) an energy-emissions reduction and fuel switching program that has captured over $150 million in monetary value and 1.1 million tonnes in abated CO2 without capital spend across the company’s Downstream and Upstream Complex Processing Facilities. Current role resides at ExxonMobil’s Baton Rouge Complex providing cold eye technical support and analysis for a large process complex, mentorship of less experienced process engineers, and development of plant strategies. Earned performance awards with Tesoro in 2012, 2014, and 2015 and with Chevron in 2019, 2022, and 2023 for business improvements related to process safety, production, operations reliability, energy / GHG management, and process optimization.

Provide cold eye technical support and project development for a large process complex with two big FCCs, SA Alkylation, Hydrocracking, Hydrotreating, and multiple Gas Plants. Provide mentorship for less experienced engineers and other staff. Support development of complex wide strategies for LPG-Light Ends recovery, Energy-Lower Carbon, and select utilities systems. ExxonMobil’s Baton Rouge facility is the 6th largest refinery in the U.S. by crude rate. It is also heavily integrated with Lubes and Chemicals making it one the world’s largest fully integrated Refining and Petrochemical facilities.
