Through this experience, I have knowledge in the development of: an atmosphere that promotes learning, thorough lesson planning, a personal teaching theoretical orientation, and the development of syllabi adhering to collegiate institution policies. I possess the ability to effectively communicate to both the student population as well as faculty regarding lesson plans, student outcomes, and progress reports. Through a student-centered approach, my classroom philosophy relies primarily on the ability to connect on an individual, professional level with students; while also maintaining the importance in the development of scholastic accountability and academic standards required of them by the university. I have a strong focus on encouraging the development of a growth-mindset within students while utilizing resources to implement individualized success plans.
