My focus is on the retiring Baby Boom generation throughout the industrialized world. I bring to my column the benefits of 20 years experience as an individual who cannot walk and is dependent on assistive technology, By covering some of the world\'s greatest architects and using my experience with virtual reality and BIM, I am able to bring specialized knowledge aimed at solving housing and related problems of the largest generation in history-a generation since its conception which has transformed the world.

Increasingly in my work, I have become convinced that pragmatism—especially universal design—ought to replace the folly imposed on current perceptions of what an architect should be. My iconographic villain is the impossibly arrogant Frank Lloyd Wright. My next column will be a denunciation of FLW after linging appreciatively over his virtues.As is the American Association of Architects, I am a firm advocate of experienced-based design. In preparation for my return, I have plotted out a year’s full of columns including:* Donald Trump’s Washington and Mine. Mine will include a loving look at the Organization of American States Building* A Zaha Hadid eulogy while regretting that early in her career she was unable to complete her design for worker housing because the Spanish government ran out of moneyThe first return column will focus on Anna Wagner Keichline’s pre-World War One Cadillac Building which Pennsylvania’s first female architect completed the year before Keichline joined the War Department to serve as a spy.
