Briefbox.me is an online design community set up by the Founders of the Orca Design Studio. We write fun helpful practice design briefs for aspiring designers to improve their design skills and build up their portfolio. The site has over members and you can post your artwork back to the site for helpful feedback. The site is completely free to sign up and start getting creative and the library of briefs cover all major design categories including: illustration, layout, web & app, iconography, typography and more. As the briefs are written by industry experts with over 10 years experience they offer aspiring designers an insight into working on real live briefs. When starting out in a career in design it can be hard to get your foot in the door and as directors of our own agency we\'ve seen hundreds of portfolios and applications from designers over the years. Brief box is a way of building up your portfolio and showing potential employers the variety of work you could complete for them given the opportunity. Push yourself further, build up your portfolio and engage with other designers out there facing the same challenges as you. To show how determined you are to get work in the industry, working on side projects and continually developing your design skills on practice briefs is a sure fire way of getting your foot in the door.
