Mountain Ash, GB

As an Associate Director specialising in flood risk and resilience, I lead strategic and technical delivery across a range of projects that support more climate-resilient communities. My work spans property flood resilience (PFR), flood risk assessment and sustainable drainage, with a focus on bridging the gap between policy, planning, and practical implementation. I actively contribute to national dialogue and innovation in the sector through several key roles: PFR Roundtable – Collaborating with industry leaders, insurers, and government stakeholders to influence best practice in the adoption and delivery of property-level resilience measures. CIWEM BeFloodReady Project Steering Group – Supporting efforts to raise public awareness and professional standards around flood preparedness, through education, communications, and cross-sector engagement. Flood Performance Certificate (FPC) Stakeholder Engagement Group – Helping shape the future of flood resilience in the built environment by advising on the development and integration of FPCs into planning, property transactions, and insurance pathways. These roles allow me to contribute to the evolution of the sector, ensuring that technical expertise is matched with practical, scalable solutions for homeowners, insurers, and communities at risk.Always open to meaningful collaboration—whether it’s advancing policy, improving flood communications, or embedding resilience into decision-making from the ground up.
