I’m a passionate entrepreneur, problem solver, and lifelong learner who thrives at the intersection of startups, technology, and the great outdoors. I love traveling to new places, connecting with new people, and sharing insights and stories along the way. I’m also way too proud that I went to LSU during the Burrow Years About My Company, Mallard Bay 🦆Mallard Bay began after a frustrating booking experience with an outfitter led us to realize how large, fragmented, and antiquated the outfitting market really was. Drawing on our founding team’s experiences as avid outdoorsmen and hunting lodge owners, we set out to build a vetted trip marketplace and back office software platform for hunting and fishing guides. What started as a dorm room startup in late 2019 quickly evolved into a rapidly growing company and the go to booking platform for both outdoorsmen as well as outfitters, charters, and lodge owners across North America. Many people refer to us as the Airbnb for guided outdoor adventures.But we’re more than just a booking platform—through our vertical software solution for the outdoor industry, we provide back-office solutions that help guides and outfitters manage their trips, finances, and payments, all in one place. With over 500 of the top outfitters and charters across North America currently using GuideTech to manage their business, and over $20M worth of trips booked through our platform we’re just getting started, and are confident that the best is yet to come.Since our launch in 2021, I\'ve worn a lot of different hats at Mallard Bay, and now as COO, my focus is on aligning our teams, strategy, and budget to achieve our ambitious vision. Our vision is to lead the $60B+ global outfitter and charter trip booking industry by building tools that streamline operations, enhance client communication, and foster trust in every transaction. We’ve seen some success, but we know we’re not yet successful, and nothing makes me more proud than the team we’ve assembled along the way.
