About Joel Keels

I have over 30 years of experience in the fields of construction management and facilities/transportation projects, including service as a Civil Engineer Corps officer in the US Navy. I am highly skilled in engineering project management, construction project management, organizational leadership and team building within fast-paced, highly technical environments. I have had responsibility for design constructability reviews, bid openings, on-site inspections, estimating and negotiating contract modifications and serving as the project manager for a diverse mix of construction projects. I have strong computer skills, being proficient in a variety of software applications including Microsoft, Oracle-Primavera, and other scheduling and document control programs.I have been a field Operations Manager within KCI\'s Construction Management Discipline, responsible for oversight of personnel and project performance in the field, meeting with clients on a regular basis, marketing KCI’s services, and conducting field audits of CM project operations. I developed KCI\'s ‘Construction Management Quality Control Manual’ for CM Discipline operations. I advanced to Vice President, Construction Management in 2006, have been responsible for construction management/inspection operations in the Mid-Atlantic Region (MD/DE/PA/OH), and now lead Business Management efforts for our Professional Services - North team.
