   Responsible for the overall operation management and education of the Hyperbaric department, spanning Texas, Kansas and Arkansas. Responsible for orientating, evaluating, and documenting competency of personnel. Establishes, maintains, and revises, quality control, performance improvement, and safety measures. As supervisor of hyperbaric medicine, I fulfill the role of hyperbaric safety director, and will develop, maintain, and manage a safety program based upon compliance with recognized standards, e.g, follows NBDHMT/UHMS guidelines for safety director. As supervisor I demonstrate effective elements of hazard mitigation, while employing recognized risk management concepts. Duties include assisting with hiring and supervises departmental staff in the performance of their duties, maintaining coordination of patient care, collaborating with other departments, auditing patient charts, providing staff development, addressing departmental issues to ensure optimal delivery of services and ensuring authorizations, performance evaluations, insurance and medical clearance.
