ABOUT JOEL JANDA

Joel Janda is a seasoned operator and investor with a distinguished track record in business management. Over the course of his career, Joel has successfully invested in, grown, and sold multiple ventures.In early 2021, Joel, along with partners, acquired Diversified Association Management and Holladay Grace, strategically combining HOA property management with construction, maintenance, and roofing services. His adept integration of these businesses resulted in substantial revenue synergies, achieving a remarkable 50% revenue increase and doubling EBITDA within three years. In late 2023, Joel helped orchestrate the sale of the consolidated businesses to a private equity firm, realizing a 4x cash on cash return.Currently serving as an Operating Partner at Interlock Equity, a $400M private equity firm, Joel leverages his expertise to advise deal teams and C-level executives on growth strategies, operational efficiency, and leadership development.Prior to this, Joel spent 18 years at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he was a Managing Director and Partner. Notably, he established and helped lead BCG\'s Seattle office (growing it ~100 FTEs) and as well as led the West Coast Industrials and Corporate Development practice areas. Joel serves on the Board of Directors for several companies, including Investor Group Services and Heuristic Actions.Joel holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business as well as undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Kansas. He resides in Colorado Springs with his wife and three children, enjoying his passions for golfing during the summer and skiing in the winter months.
