ABOUT JOEL HOOKE
Joining in 2023, I am an Editorial Performance Analyst at The Telegraph. My work includes providing regular insights into the daily, weekly and long-term performance of editorial and newsroom content, issuing actionable, data-driven recommendations.I originally joined the The Telegraph as an Editorial Performance Graduate where I spent 22 months gaining an understanding of reader behaviour, growth and content promotion through a series of rotations. This included spells in the Insights and Analytics, Social Media, Community, Homepage, Newsletters, SEO and Editorial Performance teams.Prior to this, I graduated with first-class honours in BA Journalism Studies from the University of Sheffield. I was also Head of Social Media and Advertising at Forge Press, The University of Sheffield’s independent student newspaper.
