Hospital Administration role responsible for execution of the strategic business plans for each assigned practice to ensure targets are achieved in partnership with JHU and JHM. Lead operational aspects of evaluation, development and execution of physician recruitments. Responsible for coordinating operations for these services across departments and development/implementation of improvement activities. Responsible for program development and expansion of assigned practices. Lead strategic and operational teams and projects, both departmental and organization-wide.Johns Hopkins National Capital Region HRO (High Reliability Organization) Journey Leader 2024 to current – Lead, with VPMA’s of Sibley Hospital and Suburban Hospital, all aspects of HRO program development at two hospitals. Established ongoing training for over staff and providers. Developed and established metrics, procedures and initiatives to ensure success.Hospital Based Operations include:Leading and managing hospital Administrator on Call program with twenty-eight executive and director members. Serve as primary incident commander for many events.Leadership and oversight of Palliative Care Service to include growth in hospital and ambulatory settings. Leadership and management of working relationship with a tenant Hospice Inpatient Unit on our campus. This includes setting up standard operating procedures to improve patient care.Operational co-responsibility with nurse leader for successful relocation of twenty-four bed Inpatient ICU.Ambulatory Operations have included:Oversight of the following ambulatory practices on the Sibley campus, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Urology, Thoracic Surgery, Breast Surgery, and previously Gyn Oncology and Primary Care/Specialty Suite programs. Oversight includes budget, program development, practice efficiency, practice management and staff.
