With over 25 years of experience in the industrial construction market, I have seen industrial construction from nearly every possible facet. My construction experience first started as a laborer at Exxon Refinery in Baton Rouge and worked my way up through the crafts person ranks while going to college full-time. By the time I graduated from college, I was a certified pipe welder, forklift operator, and backhoe operator. After graduation, my career took me thru lengthy stints in estimating, project controls, cost control, subcontractor management, project coordination, project management, senior project management, project development, project constructability, business development, and then finally into operations management where I currently reside. I truly believe that the lessons that I learned as a young man behind a welding hood has prepared me to be the leader that I am today. Respect for our crafts people and the difficult job that they do every day is paramount to the our overall success of any organization.
