32+ years of experience in the Corrugated/Paper industry. Spent 17+ years in a key Management position at the largest privately owned paper company in the world, Pratt Industries. PI, is one of the most innovative companies in the industry, which awarded me and excellent opportunity to always think \"outside the box\", with unlimited resources. PI, an Australian based company (Visy Industries), entered the US market in the early 1990\'s at which time they purchased Georgia Box Group, my employer at that time. I was quickly recruited to be in charge of the ISO 9001 program for standardization. As PI acquired and grew in the US, it was my responsibility to standardize each locations processes and define Key Matrix of managing results up to a Global level. With these systems eventually uniting the North American locations. My next step was to integrate Best Practices between North America and Australia and oversee projects that resulted into millions of dollars of waste being removed from the the system. This experience provided me with the unique experience to collaborate, study and improve many different management styles and techniques and to discover which were most effective and sustainable. After leaving PI, my journey brought me to South Florida were I joined IC Industries as a partner and led a comprehensive turnaround effort of the business that had been impacted by major competitive pressure. This effort resulted in significant increase in revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction.
