As a Talent Acquisition Partner with more than 19 years of experience building relationships and networking with people, I understand that without great talent, your company is going nowhere. I’ve walked in the shoes of the people that I recruit. Before working in the Talent Acquisition field, I worked in the restaurant operations as a kitchen manager, general manager, and catering sales manager. I’ve even owned and managed my pizzeria restaurant because I enjoy the hustle and bustle of the service industry. I understand the hospitality and restaurant industries and the critical success factors that go along with them. I also enjoy interviewing people because I like talking to people and learning new things. However, I take a very strategic approach to my job. In addition to using assessments, I spend time getting to know candidates to better understand their short and long-term goals and passions. I don’t endorse candidates just because they fit the profile and have the right experience on paper. I focus on finding leadership, passion, and the ability to make things happen instead of merely verifying skills.
