As an information security professional with a B.S. in Computer Science, I\'ve gained significant experience in securing and auditing systems to ensure compliance with industry-leading frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS. My journey in this field has been enriched by my time at Symposia, a consulting company that allowed me to work with a diverse range of clients across various industries.I have been responsible for planning and scoping audits, conducting gap assessments, drafting and implementing policies and procedures, and managing the entire compliance process. One of my key responsibilities was leading SOC 2 audits, where I meticulously planned, implemented, and monitored controls during the compliance period, ultimately culminating in the issuance of SOC 2 Type 2 reports.What sets me apart is my ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring everyone is on the same page.
