My experience in manufacturing, construction and service industry has led me to specialize in taking under-performing groups & optimizing performance to fit function.Whether it be with Aker Shipyard as a Ship Project Manager, Head of Steel Pre-fabrication or as the Head of Continuous Improvement or at Gamesa leading Quality and Manufacturing. I have created higher efficiency and profit by assessing situations, analyzing past processes, and creating strategies that achieve success in even the toughest of situations.My most recent experience in the wind industry was to lead the evolution of Gamesa’s products by optimizing manufacturing and obtaining a step change in quality to a point where it could compete with the industry’s leading conglomerates and achieve customer satisfaction.Success depends on planning, good fundamental execution, fiscally-sound policies, and strong leadership.Having been on both sides of the management fence, I speak clearly, timely, and honestly with my team, giving them the knowledge, tools and direction to accomplish the company’s objectives. My strong leadership skills have also led me to engage in local politics.
