I am interested in creating impactful new medical technology.Why medical? Because I value and respect the sanctity of life, in all its possibility and potential. Why technology? Because political, economic, and sociocultural ideas cycle back and forth, but technological progress is linear.How do I define impact and why new?Impact is helping patients, but many patients are not benefiting from the current healthcare system, device sector, or business paradigms.Helping those underserved patients means doing things differently, thus trying new things i.e. new medtech, new population groups, new standards of care and new models of treatment.
