In 1987 I started my career as a public accountant at Vrakas CPAs + Advisors, but felt the pull to do more with the Sage MAS90 consulting portion of the practice. Ten short years later, I officially created a new company, Vrakas/Blum Computer Consulting, LLC(VBCC). Early on, I was one of the most successful solution providers of DM2 Software and through this, formed great relationships with valuable mentors. In my first year as a certified JobOps Solution Provider, I was named rookie of the year, selling more manufacturing software solutions than any other provider. This set the pace for my success. In the next two decades, I continued to grow the business to what it is today. Currently, we have the strongest manufacturing implementation team of any other Sage Solution Provider in the nation. I was also able to add a strong network of Alliance Partners to our team, most of which started out as competitors who appreciated our expertise in manufacturing. Many in the early days were CPA firms, but we have grown to work with other Sage solution providers that see our strength as an asset to their team. What started with 10 clients has grown to over 350 across the country. The result of our nationwide alliance network and expert team of consultants gave us the experience of performing approximately 1/3 of all implementations in the nation. As President of VBCC, my primary responsibility is selling Sage Manufacturing Software. I am known nationally as the JobOps expert and love implementing manufacturing software because I am only limited by my creativity. I strive to maintain great relationships with clients and vendors alike. Each year I host one of the most attended user conferences in the nation which features over 20 of our strategic vendors. I also serve as a resource for Sage Software, JobOps and other tactical vendors.
