About Joe Jacob
Hello! I am an automotive engineer with 6 years of experience developing Fuel Cell (FC) powertrain systems for fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV). I am currently part of the Advanced Technology Development group at TATA MOTORS, wherein I am responsible for sizing of fuel cell power system (FCPS) and other powertrain components, model-based system engineering (MBSE) and simulations of FCPS and auxiliary components, and model-based development of control strategy development for FCEV energy management as well vehicle-integration and testing of FCPS.I am a firm believer in sustainable transport solutions and aspire to work on engineering R&D projects and problems that can make this a reality. Before joining Tata Motors, I obtained a Master\'s in thermal engineering, specializing in modelling and simulation of thermo-fluid dynamic systems from IIT Madras. I am proficient in MATLAB & SIMULINK, Dymola, CFD (Fluent, CFX, ICEM CFD), and Python scripting.Whether you\'re a fellow engineer, researcher, or simply curious about FCEVs, electrification, or engineering in general feel free to reach out.
