Lead for the Oregon CHI team, assuring the design and implementation of Providence’s social impact programs and investments to provide supportive initiatives for our underserved community members- Responsible for an approximate $90 million annual proactive spending budget and all federal and state community benefit reporting for the $5 billion Oregon health services enterprise- Create braided funding opportunities across hospital-based foundations, the Providence St. Joseph Community Partnership Fund, the broader Providence St. Joseph Health’s seven-state Community Health Investment portfolio and leveraging external funding agencies- Restructuring of the annual community granting program and streamlining of monitoring/evaluation, communications and quarterly/annual grantee outcomes reporting- Coordinate with government affairs and communications, producing evidence used towards supporting specific Federal and Oregon State bills as they relate to, and impact community health- Represent Providence in local, state and national health/economic forums, with particular emphasis on collaborative community benefit models, social determinants of health and housing solutions- Led the 2-year community emergency COVID response under the public health emergency.
