I manage high-impact areas that reduce cost, mitigate risk, and drive operational efficiency: • Talent Acquisition: Lead full-cycle recruitment to minimize vacancy downtime, control labor costs, and ensure workforce readiness in a fast-paced, labor-intensive environment. • WorkSafeBC Claims & Disability Management: Own the end-to-end process — from documentation and case manager communication to modified duties coordination — to reduce claim durations, contain premium costs, and maintain compliance with both legislation and collective agreements. • Employee & Labor Relations: Act as a neutral but firm HR advisor handling conflict-prone matters (attendance, discipline, accommodation) while protecting the company’s legal standing and maintaining stable labor relations. • HRIS & Workforce Data Integrity: Support data-driven decision-making by maintaining accurate HR systems that enable better headcount planning, attendance tracking, and compliance audits. • Engagement & Retention Initiatives: Drive localized employee engagement and communication efforts that strengthen trust, reduce turnover, and align front-line operations with corporate culture.

I’m an HR professional with 10+ years of experience in recruitment, employee & labor relations, training, and disability management & WorksafeBC(WCB) Claim Management—built across both international and Canadian workplaces. I bring a balanced approach to HR: one rooted in structure, strategy, and empathy.Before moving to Canada, I spent several years working in the education industry in Vietnam, leading HR operations for English training organizations such as ILA Vietnam and EIV International Education.
