JOB SUMMARY: The Construction Manager will oversee all activities related to R&M and fabric maintenance across QNE’s asset base in the Gulf of Mexico. Areas of oversight include piping, vessels, structural and cranes, including support of Capital projects as well as budgetary oversight/responsibility for Expense facility projects and budget. This position works within QNE’s Production Operations team on a 9/80 schedule and can be based either in Houston, Tx or Lafayette, La. Periodic travel to alternate offices (Houston or Lafayette) and offshore are expected. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide leadership, direction, and accountability to the onshore and offshore construction team to ensure alignment with QNE objectives and goals Provide project management support for all offshore construction projects across QNE’s facilities Oversee field construction operations to ensure they are executed in accordance with QNE safe work practices and industry best practices Ensure facility and process system repairs are conducted in accordance with applicable code and regulations Fully integrate with Operations and HSE teams to ensure a consistent, safe approach to all aspects of the construction program Oversee QNE’s crane management programs to ensure safe operations per relevant standards Support capital projects teams through construction phases of projects, ensuring a consistent, controlled approach Support the Mechanical Integrity team through execution of all corrosion management programs Participate in multi-discipline risk assessment efforts Ensure MOC processes are adhered to and thoroughly vetted where applicable Participate in Management of Change reviews, HAZOPS, Design reviews, etc. Create and manage budgets for all topsides Expense construction activities across QNE’s assets Maintain quality records for all projects, including inspections, NCRs, equipment/machinery certifications, etc.
