About Joe Felton
I joined NorthPoint Development in 2020 as an Environmental Development Manager within the firm’s industrial real estate development group. The group sources, procures, entitles, and redevelops Brownfield properties for industrial use across the United States. We work with consultants, counsel, and insurance advisors to mitigate risk by negotiating environmental provisions within purchase agreements, managing environmental assessment and investigation activities during due diligence, participating in regulatory cleanup programs to obtain liability protections, securing environmental liability insurance, and advising civil and construction teams of design requirements (e.g, vapor intrusion mitigation systems), land use restrictions imposed by covenants, and other related considerations (e.g, contaminated soil and groundwater management).
