Provide inspections for the systematic Code Enforcement Landscape Maintenance Inspection Program through the Community Development Department. Complete various landscape maintenance inspections and tree removal permit inspections for private properties. The Landscape Maintenance Inspection Program ensures all properties with an approved landscape site plan maintain their property in compliance with the approved plan. The goal is to inspect all nonresidential properties in a two (2) year time frame with commercial and office properties as the priority. The residential developments are to be inspected every five (5) years or as requests are made. Landscape maintenance inspection duties include: inspection of all properties with an approved landscape site plan on file; preparation of punch list letters and marked plans; correspondence with property owners and managers; scheduling meetings and re-inspections; and follow up correspondence including letter of intent and installation phasing coordination as necessary. Tree removal permit duties include: review and approval of tree removal permits; performing initial, follow up, and final tree removal inspections; coordinating site meetings and follow up correspondence, including letter of intent and phasing plan coordination as necessary. Additional duties include: compiling the list of yearly Landscape Award nominees, which includes taking site photos, compiling contact information and providing reasoning for award selection.
