I’m an Applications Engineering in Roanoke, VA for Altec Industries. I worked 9.5 years in New Product Design primarily on Cranes and Digger Derrick Designs and recently changed groups to gain experience in a different technical area of the company.I’ve worked on systems integrations for cranes and providing life cycle support for the product. I developed products such as the LS60, a new service crane, a phase lifter adapter for cranes, new hydraulic functionality for augers on derricks, and creating an insulated jib for 500 kVAC work.
