Reporting to the VP of Integration, the Director of Operations serves as the local Branch’s temporary senior leadership in times of leadership vacancy, as well as overseeing process and system improvement projects, as needed by Addus.• Manages and oversees branch staff, ranging from 1-15 Branch employees, depending on branch size.• Develops and executes branch improvement plans, identifying key operational challenges and setting actionable and measurable objectives to improve identified issues.• Responsible for ensuring safe and effective delivery of client services.• Monitors AR to ensure AR department is utilizing consistent and effective strategies for timely billing and collections.• Manages branch-level Finances utilizing strategies to maximize gross margin.• Leads annual budgeting process from start-to-finish by guiding branch leadership through effective budgeting techniques.• Ensures day-to-day branch Operations and functions are completed effectively, including, but not limited to: Recruiting, General HR, Payroll, P&L, Training, Licensing/Quality Audits, and other Agency Director duties.• Oversees development and execution of business development plans and ensures all services are performed in an efficient and effective manner.• Ensures branch and field staff compliance with Quality and Compliance policies and procedures, and government and commercial contract requirements.• Develops and maintains relationships with case management or social workers, and any other potential referral sources in an effort to promote Addus programs and services.• Maintains travel flexibility and availability for 150+ branches spread over 20+ states.
