I have happily dedicated over 30 years to improving animal welfare, preventing cruelty and promoting kindness. Working for both private and public sectors. I am an authentic leader determined to live and work my values and inspire others to realise theirs. Becoming a Director of Global Animal Welfare Alliance and project board Chair of One Welfare Phoenix increased my knowledge of welfare challenges globally, and has given me the opportunity to raise awareness and make a systemic and sustainable difference. Studying Stoicism has helped me find my inner courage and resilience, to triumph over adversity and view challenges/obstacles as opportunities. Since 2012 I have become increasingly interested in the correlation between human and animal health,and wellbeing. Becoming the CEO of Humanimal Trust,means I can turn that interest into my purpose, helping improve lives, and save lives.
