ABOUT JOE ALIOTO VERONESE
Joe is the founding partner at The Alioto Law Group which specializes in corporate litigation and contract negotiations. Joe has represented founders, C-level employees and board members in contract and litigation negotiation at Fortune 500 Companies including Amazon, Gap, Twitter, Splunk, and many more. Joe is a civil rights trial attorney with the Law Offices of Mayor Joseph L. Alioto & Angela Alioto with several civil rights trial verdicts ranging from $1.3M to $132M. Joe has represented clients in complex legal transactions involving commercial properties. He founded the Alioto Realty Group to facilitate full service commercial real estate sales. He is also the founder and Executive Director of the National First Responders Fund and member of the board of directors of the California Senate’s International Relations Commission.Joe has served California Governor Schwarzenegger and Governor Edmund Gerald “Jerry” Brown Jr. as California Criminal Justice Commissioner for seven years (appointed by the California Senate), as San Francisco Police Commissioner for four years (appointed by then Mayor Gavin Newsom), and as San Francisco Fire Commissioner for three years (appointed by Mayor Edwin Lee, serving also under Mayor London Breed). In his early life, he served as a San Francisco Police Officer (Reserve) and Senior Criminal Investigator for San Francisco District Attorney Terrance Hallinan. In addition to his work as a member of the Board of the California Senate’s International Relations Commission, Joe has represented the State of California as an appointee of two Governors (Governor Newsom and Governor Brown) to international summits including the Group of Seven Nations Summit (G7 Summit) Subcommittee on the Environment and the Regions for Global Sustainable Development Summit. He has also represented the City and County of San Francisco in international delegations by the appointment of then Mayor Gavin Newsom and served as Co-Chair of the San Francisco-Assisi Sister City Committee. In addition to his philanthropy work as founder and executive Director of the National First Responders Fund, Joe has a long history of supporting local philanthropies and has served as a member of the board of directors of the Bay Area Democrats and the Omega Boys Club. Joe regularly appears as a political and legal contributor on multi-nationally syndicated shows on the FOX News Channel, including Tucker Carlson, The Ingraham Angle, The O\'Reilly Factor, Neil Cavuto, Sean Hannity, and Charles Payne.
