   The Legal and Ethical Environment of Business,” Central Connecticut State University, New Britain, CT Designed and currently teach a unique version of Business Law and Ethics 250, a course that introduces business students to the legal and ethical environment of business, including a foundation in the legal system and ethics principles that affect enterprise-wide decision-making. Lead students in the exploration of specific areas of business law including constitutional, international, organizational, contracts, torts, product liability, intellectual property, technology, regulatory and employment areas. Foster class discussion, emphasizing ethical responsibility and reasoning. The course teaches a theoretical framework in which to understand the practice of law and ethics in domestic and global business. It is a launchpad for learning the practical aspects of how business conduct actually occurs – and how it should occur - in real life. The goal is to promote knowledge of how practice occurs but also why law and business are conducted as they are. Discussion, questioning, respectful challenging, and reviews of different approaches, experiences, and ideas are highly encouraged.
