Designed and implemented components for the Enterprise Data Lake, a collection of parquet based historical archives of enterprise data products for thousands of datasets using Python, Spark, Apache Iceberg and Apache Trino• Piloted a complex transformation offering on top of the data lake that allowed building new client-facing products using ANSI compliant SQL transformations that were run over Iceberg tables• Designed and built a custom parsing library for industry specific pricing formats that was used to support additional datasets for ingestion• Led and participated in design discussions and requirement gathering for new products and infrastructure• Efficiently deployed and integrated software engineered by team and updated integration/deployment scripts to improve continuous integration practices• Liaised with a quant team and product managers to identify product requirements needed to implement and deliver custom client requests• Coordinated efforts with our QC team to help automate and integrate parts of the QC process into the main ingestion pipeline, reducing effort and time required to release new datasets to clients
