The Village of Bartlett has a president-trustee form of government. A village clerk, six trustees and a village president are elected in nonpartisan, at-large elections. They are elected for four-year terms. Elections are staggered, with three trustees elected every two years and the Village clerk and president elected every four years. Municipal elections occur in odd numbered years.Outside of family and a few friends, the Community of Bartlett is one of my longest standing \"relationships\". Baptized here as an infant, raised here by my parents, with my sisters since 1977, participated in numerous community activities as a youth, hired for my first job and eventually met my wife here, another lifelong resident, building our home, and raising our daughters. Storybook.Looking forward to trying my best at serving the community that has been an integral part of my life.
