Dalton State, with its main campus in Dalton and its Mountain Campus in beautiful Ellijay, Georgia, proudly supports over 5,500 students this Fall ‘25 semester across an array of academic programs in our School of Arts and Sciences, School of Education, School of Health Professions, and the C. Lamar and Ann Wright School of Business. As a member of the University System of Georgia, Dalton State drives regional innovation, fuels economic impact, and offers deep insight into NW Georgia’s cultural and regional heritage. Dalton State is home to our students, of course, and it is home to the Bandy Heritage Center, the Turtle Assurance Colony, and an abundance of experiential learning opportunities across the liberal arts, STEM, health professions, business, and education. Responsibilities: faculty support, including oversight of annual evaluation, pre-tenure, tenure, promotion, and post-tenure review; assist with Dalton State and University System of Georgia special initiatives; supervise and oversee department personnel – e.g, hiring, training, directing, evaluating – including the Bandy Heritage Center, Honors Program, Study Abroad, and Instructional Technologies; support for accreditation and curricular planning, development, and implementation; review and update the Academic Affairs Policy and Procedures Manual; and provide oversight of faculty credentials for the eCore, eMajor, FinTech, and Nursing consortiums.
