About Joe van Slyke
No matter what the problem is, editors and mixers are always happy to see me come in to figure out the solution. I\'m told I have a calming effect on the situation. Methodical and precise are the descriptions I often hear of me. I design audio and video editing systems to allow the users a fast and efficient workflow. The details get my attention that others often overlook. Continuous research is needed to find better ways to allow the productions to meet their deadlines. Downtime in the office will often find me \"Geeking Out\" on some newly found solution to a problem. I strive to make all systems as easy for the user to get to the end of the production as possible.
