In this role, Thompson increases the firm’s presence in the aviation field, bridging its design and construction groups. Joe has more than 30 years of experience in the aviation market. The breadth and depth of his understanding of the industry make him the ideal leader to shape and grow STV’s aviation practice. Throughout his career, Thompson has facilitated improvements at some of the country’s largest airports, working on major projects and mega programs; including Los Angeles International Airport, George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. His experience also includes collaborating with major airline clients such as Delta, American, and United to solve challenges and deliver their vision.
