ABOUT JOE SMITH
Following on from my love of making YouTube videos since age 11, I studied for 3 years on the perfect course at Bournemouth University. Since graduating (with first class honours), I moved to London to meet and work with likeminded people in the TV & Film industry and joined Picture Head where I quality checked approvals and deliverables for international film & TV trailers. I am now working as a Videographer for Silversea Expedition Cruises, offering me the opportunity to travel the world and capture one-in-a-lifetime experiences (landscape, nature, culture). Since the age of 15, I\'ve gained experience on a variety of film projects. These experiences have ranged from being an assistant editor on a Channel 4 documentary called The Endless Winter II, travelling to Sierra Leone as a cinematographer to shoot promotional material for a children\'s charity, and shooting and editing a short documentary to feature on the album \"Mark Kelly\'s Marathon\". I really enjoy spending time around people and within a team. Bouncing ideas from one-another to create an entertaining, brief-hitting product is really exciting, although I have always also loved sitting in-front of an edit to make the absolute most out of the footage and material provided to me. Wherever I am, either on location or at home, I love working with new people, and fresh ideas.
