Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, architectural drawings, shop drawings, installation requirements, and architectural intent- Conduct take-offs, prepare accurate cost estimates, project schedules and material procurement processing for aluminum entrances, storefront and curtain wall systems- Perform formal project management activities- Order, track, and coordinate materials pertaining to each project- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques- Draw accurate shop drawing elevations using the GDS Estimating Software- Create Work Orders, and Purchase Orders using QuickBooks- Ensure up to date accurate records, budgets, schedules and progress reports- Participate in weekly scheduling meetings to ensure we meet customers deadlines- Establish and nurture relationships with industry professionals, manufacturers, general contractors, subcontractors and public agencies in an ultimate effort to promote company revenue growth- Stay informed of most current product, systems knowledge and industry practices in order to improve efficiency and skill- Provide IT Support for the computers, printers, and routers here in the office.
