Monitors, manages, and takes decisive action on program of study level with multiple clinical trial protocols within excess of $35M (AVG $2.26M). Strategically collaborates with junior Project Managers (PM), and proactively drives all aspects of client needs and expectations for the overall project performance through the life cycle of assigned clinical trials. Quickly identifies and implements opportunities for process and efficiency improvement, writes scope of work, identifies and builds budget change orders in a structured change control process, and is a source of knowledge for junior PMs. Selected to work with multiple client portfolios with trust to deliver on time and in many cases ahead of schedule. • Therapeutic Focused: Specializes in oncology therapeutic areas that involve tumor tissue collection, embedding & microtomy, aliquot services, special orders, sample management, complex conditional shipping of samples, and operations in China. • Competence: Performs and drives teams in database study setup, supervises all other initiation activities, monitors the execution phase, and drives the study to closure. Monitors timelines, performance quality, and reports key KPIs & recommends actionable mitigations. Maintains all budgets to be in scope, but quickly measures inputs and uses established T&T that result in positive measurable outputs. • Proactive: Streamlines efforts amongst peer and junior PMs to synergize program and portfolio efforts with intent of reducing TAT by capitalizing on lessons learned for the benefit of staff and clients resulting in an increased book of business and an overall sustained backlog of business. • Leader Development: Strategic thinker who leads two multi-arm umbrella studies; consistently developing and mentoring two junior Project Managers.
