Assist personnel within the Engineering Department in completion of assignments including new product design, sustaining engineering, manufacturing support, and customer support. Assemble and test prototype tools. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Responsible to perform testing and complete test documentation with direct or indirect involvement from departmental personnel. Product development activities include assembly and testing of prototype and of new and improved products as directed by engineering management in response to customer and industry requirements. Interdepartmental support includes assisting the manufacturing and quality departments in basic problem solving. Interacts with customers during development and testing of customer specific tools following established Company and customer procedures. All duties and functions performed within time parameters as set by departmental and project requirements.
