With an annual budget of $35 million, Gracepoint operates a 60 bed adult and 14 bed children’s crises stabilization unit and is the controlling entity of the recently merged United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Tampa. • Successfully lobbied and acquired $1.8 million in new annual state funding to develop a 20 bed forensic diversion program. • Successfully expanded the bed capacity for DCF funded Baker Act patients resulting in annual funding increase.• Provided the necessary oversight in implementing the necessary programmatic modifications resulting from Florida’s elimination of the Medicaid capitated plans and move to the HMO prior authorization model. • Led the organization in developing medical integration models with both the local hospital networks and the federal qualified health care center.
