These components are mainly reusable components of business logic that are intended to be consumed by various front end or batch applications. Continuous integration was also introduced to allow for these components to be have a snapshot version that is constantly up to date so that development working on UI or Batch initiatives that consume these core components to keep up with the very latest if they so choose. This strategy has been heavily embraced as we implement a new entitlements management system for our commercial banking platform that essentially sells software as a service.
