I manage all commercial, marketing and event activity for FinTech North. From being the first employee in 2019, I\'m now part of a team of 3 full-time employees who work to bring a community of over people together. FinTech North is the focal point for FinTech in the North of England; an ecosystem facilitator that promotes the North as a centre of excellence and brings together the Northern FinTech community with events and thought-leading content. I regularly speak at national and international industry events, promoting northern FinTech activity and innovation. I develop strategic partnerships with FinTechs, established corporates, financial services firms, professional services firms, public sector and other not-for-profit entities to support our activity. I also work closely with our partners in the ecosystem to support their business development and strategic objectives, leveraging my network and industry connections. As my knowledge of the FinTech, Tech and Financial Services sectors continues to grow, I am able to signpost startups and new market entrants to useful sector contacts including investors and advisors.
