Adapted to shifts in priority from STG’s acquisition of RSA from Dell. Led separation projects that were critical for Archer to be stand-alone from other RSA products while ensuring key project priorities already in-flight didn’t slip. Stepped up and took ownership of Archer’s AWS master payer during the transition and worked with other RSA products to separate Archer accounts. Developed a passion for cloud cost optimizing, managing cloud spend, and streamlining billing with a new financial team. Earned the nickname of Cost Savings Hunter by Archer’s financial team. Key Accomplishments: • Working directly with Archer’s AWS reps to understand new feature capabilities and areas of improving cost efficiencies within our product. • Reduced R & Ds AWS budget from 1.4M to 800k (48% savings) in 1.5 years with effective analysis using Cloudability and CloudAware while providing awareness, incorporating tagging, and cleanup in engineering’s cloud development teams. • Eliminated eight on-premises VMWare Labs used around the world by building a centralized AWS Lab efficiently streamlining processes, reducing duplication, utilizing mandatory tagging, with AWS Service Catalog giving Archer 100% cloud footprint. • Planned and executed taking Archer’s telemetry data back from RSA IT to ensure Archer was stand-alone with no dependencies with RSA. • Invited to join Archer’s ESG panel providing various metrics around Archer’s cloud spend and carbon emissions footprint. • Effective cloud spend estimator.
