Some examples include:• Reduced the Leicester Hospital’s Gastroenterology first-initial-appointment wait from a 43-week average wait time, to a 19-week average wait time through the introduction of regular reporting, performance analysis meetings and the utilisation of local hospital networks to increase available supply. • Successfully led a £4.2 million capital funding project at Leicester Hospitals, resulting in the reconfiguring of 3 hospital sites’ endoscopic ventilation systems, the building of a temporary endoscopic suite and procuring £1.2 million of new medical technology to increase the availability of cancer services in Leicestershire. This project was completed within the 4 month timeframe.• Launched a new workforce management system with a high profile healthcare organisation in London, enabling them to efficiently roster and manage salaried staff, as well as creating a sustainable bank of temporary staff.
