ABOUT JOE MIDDLEMISS

With over a decade of hands-on experience in the North American biogas industry, I bring a practical, solutions-focused approach to every project. I started my career as a service technician for a leading German biogas company, receiving extensive training in Germany before constructing, commissioning, and servicing digesters from the ground up. Over the years, I’ve managed and performed digester cleanouts, CHP rebuilds, preventative repairs, agitator replacements, and biogas upgrader servicing, while also expanding the service department’s customer base through replacement parts sales and repowering. In my next role, I transitioned into technical support, providing engineering, construction, and commissioning expertise, along with operational guidance for a range of Biogas and RNG installations. Today, as part of the SUMA America team, I am passionate about delivering high-quality agitator solutions to clients across the biogas, agriculture, water waste water and industrial sectors within North America.
