Newshour on the World Service and language programs such as the Afghan live broadcasts from broadcasting house.As a studio director I direct live programmes. Work with the team to direct the show through live output. Steer the team through challenging sequences such as breaking news live on air. Work out timings as we go to keep the programme on track. Edit and perfect tapes/ packages, often with a tight deadline to turn them around.
