As a Senior Project Director at Kiewit, I focus on working with clients to define and develop their projects from a conceptual idea to a level that is ready for detailed design and construction execution. By directing a team of engineers, estimators, schedulers, and constructability personnel, I provide solutions through a dynamic, iterative development process, usually falling under a feasibility study, front end loading (FEL-1-2, etc.), front end engineering design (FEED) or progressive design-build (PDB) delivery method.Using Kiewit’s engineering-led, construction-driven culture, I am able to help clients determine viability and investment decisions at the right time in their project’s development. I work collaboratively with clients to incorporate input from Kiewit’s engineering, estimating, permitting, procurement, construction, and startup groups, as well as external partners and OEMs to begin to define scope, schedule, cost and risk. Using this approach, clients experience flexibility in progression in a way that prioritizes the ultimate realization of their overall goals.With over 35 years of experience in the Pulp & Paper market, I bring a focus to developing and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and other key stakeholders. I am responsible for developing the team vision, identifying priorities, and aligning them with project development goals as well as establishing a culture that inspires a highly capable, committed, and engaged team.
