About Joseph Hook
LHJ was founded to provide preconstruction services to project Owners, A/E firms and Builders. We perform cost estimating from concept through final design. We also perform Value Analysis, Life Cycle Cost Studies and Constructability Analysis. Our work often entails creating procurement strategies and advising our clients regarding alternative project delivery methods. Our ability to perform design phase estimating stems from a depth of project experience combined with an extensive network of industry participants. As former builders and self-performing contractors, we have an understanding of construction processes not commonly found with traditional estimating firms. We maintain a network of vendors and routinely obtain realistic, market based, project specific pricing for our estimates. We strive for clarity and transparency in all of our work. Our mission is to offer our customers predictability and provide information that empowers them to make the best possible design and facility decisions.
